About Us

About Us

DCI founded the Northeast Village Community Development Corporation to respond to the growing need for quality affordable housing in northeast Detroit. The primary goals are to build new infill housing and foster an increase in Repairs to existing housing stock. To accomplish these objectives, a variety of strategies will be implemented, such as: Neighborhood Code Education/Enforcement, Home Ownership and Tenant Responsibility Training, and increasing access to grants and low interest loans for home repair.

Vision

Our vision is to develop a community with affordable housing that will promote home ownership focusing on improving and increasing housing stock.

Mission

Our mission is to provide a healthy community through the construction of new affordable housing, restoration of existing housing, and development of programs that stabilize property values.
